At Collectors MD, we know that true recovery requires both peer support and professional infrastructure. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado (PGCC) to launch Unboxed Powered By Collectors MD—the first state-level program specifically designed for individuals struggling with the gambling-like side of collecting.
PGCC brings decades of expertise in prevention, education, and advocacy around gambling harms. By pairing that experience with Collectors MD’s community-driven model, we’re creating a hybrid support system that bridges the gap between the hobby and the broader behavioral health space.
Together, we’re piloting a universal framework, co-branded resources, and weekly Unboxed meetings—available both virtually and in-person in Colorado. This program is the first of its kind, and it represents a major step toward making recovery more accessible, stigma-free, and tailored to the unique challenges collectors face.
If you or someone you know is struggling with compulsive collecting, gambling, or related behaviors, support is here—you don’t have to face it alone.
